On the Ground: Lessons Learned from Hurricane Sandy
This mapping effort is NYASLA's initiative to catalog lessons learned from Hurricane Sandy. The information from this site will have both immediate and long term value. It will guide the various governmental task forces that are developing recommendations for moving forward after Sandy. It will also inform a longer-term study of site resilience that examines design, materials, vegetation, land form and other factors important to designing and building sites that survive and thrive long into the future. Please submit by Wednesday, December 19 2012 to be included in our report from the first round of data collection.
